Policy Update

Effective 7/1/2022 the SPA DE VIE salon and spa policy and procedures will be as follows.

Appointments

Any deposit made to SPA DE VIE is non refundable and non transferable. Failure to provide deposit will result in automatic cancellation of service.

Time is invaluable to our guests, stylists and company. We at SPA DE VIE will ensure the success and growth of our stylists by having a card on file before scheduling an appointment. Any guest that books an appointment and does not arrive within 15 minutes of the appointment time, cancels within 24 hours before their appointment will be charged 50% of the service booked. Any guest that is more than 15 minutes late or is considered a no call, no show will be charged 95% of the service scheduled. SPA DE VIE holds the right to charge the card on file upon neglect of appointment procedures without notification.

Hair Guarantee

The rapid growth of today's world has many advantages with the wide range of hair care products that are readily available for purchase to the general public. One of the biggest downfalls of rapid growth is what the beauty industry would call "Product Diversion". Product diversion is defined as "the practice in which merchandise intended for a particular distribution channel is shifted to be sold in another without the knowledge or permission of the primary vendor". Unfortunately this means that some products may be counterfeit or acquired illegally.

SPA DE VIE has products available for purchase that are specifically designed for your individual hair care needs. These products can be recommended by your stylist. Products purchased and or used outside of SPA DE VIE will result in the termination of your hair guarantee. Professional products sold by SPA DE VIE are formulated and designed for the health and care of your hair. Following the recommended usage of recommended products can prevent and help with dryness, breakage and color fading and will ensure the longevity of your hair or chemical service provided. Any guest that receives a salon service at SPA DE VIE and are not satisfied with the result, have 24 hours to contact the salon for arrangement of correction. In the event our guest does not contact the salon within 24 hours the guest voluntarily forfeits any and all correction services.

Children

Due to the environment of SPA DE VIE. children who are not receiving a service are not permitted. The use of chemicals, sharp implements and items that are for professional use only are being used at all times within the facility. This can create an environment that is unfit for any unsupervised children and creates a space that may potentially be dangerous. Any child that is under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the salon, no exceptions. A child is not considered under adult supervision if the adult is receiving a service. If our guest has more than one child receiving services, the child must be seated in the waiting area. Wandering, running, horse play and loud behavior of any sort are not permitted. Direct disregard of the above will result in the child/children to not receive a service from the scheduled appointment forward.

By booking an appointment with SPA DE VIE salon and spa our guests are agreeing to recognize and comply with all policy changes. Guests booking with SPA DE VIE salon and spa also understand that all policy changes are effective 7/1/2022 and do not hold SPA DE VIE responsible or liable for wilful neglect of salon policies and procedures.

General FAQ

What forms of payment do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Check, Cash and Gift Certificates.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require A 24 hour notice is required when cancelling a scheduled service to avoid any fees. If you do not cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled service or services you will be required to pay 50% of the services reserved in order to continue booking services at Spa de Vie Salon and Spa.
Do you take walk ins?
Absolutely! We will always try to accommodate you if we can. If not we will be more than happy to schedule you an appointment that works best for your schedule.
Do you offer gift certificates?
We sure do! We sell gift certificates for ALL dollar amounts as well as for specific services.
How does the tipping process work and what is normal?
Our prices do not include gratuities for salon and spa service providers. Tipping is optional, but if the service meets or exceeds your expectations it is definitely appreciated. The industry standard is 15 – 20% of your total service fee.
Do you accommodate late arrivals?
If you show up late for your appointment your services may be altered to fit the remaining time. If this happens you will still be responsible for the full amount of the services booked.
What if I lose my gift certificate?
No worries! This information is saved in our system. We can provide you with the amount remaining, expiration dates, and past services at any time!
Can you request products to be ordered if they are not in stock?
Yes. Depending on the item requested we should be able to order it for you and can contact you when it comes in!
Can I use my gift certificate on products and services?
Gift certificates can be used on services and products.
What is your pricing policy?
All prices are subject to change.
What can I expect from my service provider during my salon or spa treatment?
Your service provider will consult with you prior to the service to find out your goals and preferences, and can make recommendations if appropriate. She or he will let you know what to expect, and will find out if you have any special needs or concerns.
Can I wear makeup during my facial or body treatment?
During facials, your esthetician will remove your make-up for you. If you are scheduled for a body treatment and would like to remove your makeup beforehand, we will provide you with items so you can do so before your treatment.
What should I wear for a spa treatment?
No special clothing is required; come as you are! If you are enjoying several services, you will be provided with a robe and slippers. Your personal comfort is always most important to us!
Can I book extra services while I am at the spa?
Absolutely, please ask! We will always try to accommodate your wishes, although we do recommend that you book your treatments in advance.
Do you allow children in the spa?
Children are welcome as long as they are scheduled for services. If not, we ask that you respect the other guests’ peace and quiet by leaving your children at home. This also allows you time for yourself to enjoy your services.
What if I’m pregnant?
Spa de Vie has many wonderful services to give you extra-special treatment during this (often uncomfortable!) time. We understand your need for care and safety, and make accommodations if necessary.
Do you offer services for couples?
Absolutely! Our couples retreat package found under spa packages is perfect for couples! We also offer couples massages and facials!
Will there be someone available for makeup application after a spa treatment?
Of course. If someone is available after your service we will be glad to reapply your makeup for you. Please note there will be additional fees.
Do you provide flip flops after a pedicure?
Yes we do offer the throw away flip flops for you to wear out of the spa.
